Born and raised on my family's Union County farm — the fourth generation to work this land. I served 22 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel after leading soldiers through combat deployments. Nine years on the Union County Airport Board taught me how county budgets and taxpayer dollars actually work. I'm not learning this job from scratch.
